I would say yes. You have a fairly new system right?? So it shouldn't have too much to transfer over. Vista has a Windows Easy Transfer utility in System tools under Accessories that may make the task of reinstalling easier.

Why take any problems that you have from this system over to the new mobo. Just save your data. Maybe use a new/different hard for the new install and move the data from your old drive after your freash install.

yup, rog, the best way to have Noooo(bama) trouble with Vista is with a fresh install. It just might fix some of your initial problems to boot.

ohhh Edit: and the 680i has always worked well for me, and with the new 730(?) just coming out, 680 should be the nice price.

I have an MSI p45 neo3 that just got back from rma. I want pcie 2.0 which my present board doesn't have.
