If you can hold off updating your teamspeak client please do so. They put out beta23 for the server and it is not a straight update. I need to do a couple of updates to get there and it may not be done today.

Kit do they send you e-mails about updates, I got 3-4 behind.

If you need to back down your client please check out their forums, there are links to ftp sites with the older clients.

I am getting Kits help on updating from 22 to 23 as it needs some sql query settings done so we don't lose the group settings.

As a footnote it will be running on a different server and I have given Kit admin access to it so hopefully we can keep it up-to-date. There is lots of room on the drives for hosting some old games if anyone has a wish. BF1942, BFv, BF2 come to mind.

I did not apply any sql updates as we do not use the features that came with the new beta23 and I dont think we have the permission depth to implement any time soon either.

i'm confused. Which version do we upgrade to? The latest or the beta?

yep beta21 works for me. beta20 doesnt. i manually downloaded and installed. seems the auto updater is having problems. freezes half way through.

I had used the In-Client HELP > Check for Updates option to update, had no problems at all. - Tis why I didnt post a link.

The server sounds like it's upgraded now, so let TS3 do the update....

For me the updater did not work through teamspeak. i had to uninstall and reinstall. the correct version you need is beta21. beta20 wont work.
